DESCRIPTION

The PEACOCK pipe device is a device designed for climbing and overcoming obstacles. It consists of a steel structure made of arches bent from steel round pipes with a minimum diameter of 193.7mm, and rope nets equipped with various additions to add variety to the fun. The steel structure is protected against corrosion by hot-dip galvanizing and powder coating and consists of two independent closed loops – internal and external. Rope nets are hung between the inner and outer loops. The rope elements are made of polyamide, braided, bonded ropes with a diameter of 18mm, connected by connectors made of aluminum, stainless steel and plastic. The connection of the rope net to the steel structure is provided by elements made of acid-resistant steel and hot-dip galvanized steel. The total length of the rope used is a minimum of 2000m.
The nets are additionally equipped with:
– 8mm thick rubber mats – 20pcs, used for sitting, lying or rolling. The total area of the mats is a minimum of 45m2. The chemical composition of the mats used must comply with REACH Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 and its following modifications.
– climbing ropes – 13pcs, each equipped with a minimum of 5pcs climbing steps, steps made of polyamide
– rope loungers – 2pcs, high-density rope nets with a maximum field of 150mm, providing a place to rest or play in a sitting or lying position
– seats, platforms – 7pcs., made of HDPE plates with a thickness of min. 15mm, hanging on the rope nets above and anchored in the ground at the bottom
Foundation of the steel structure made as reinforced concrete footings.
Connections of steel structure components shall be made in such a way as to ensure the continuity of the external surface of the pipe bends, butt connections with the location of connectors outside the outside diameter of the pipe bend section are not permitted and others that change the cross-section of the steel structure in steps along its length. This requirement is to avoid the danger to users posed by protruding hard parts and to maintain a satisfactory visual effect of the device.
The fall area of the equipment should be made on a surface in accordance with PN EN 1176- 1:2017. The possibility of access by heavy construction equipment is required for the installation.
