DESCRIPTION
CUBES3 CITY is a device consisting of three cubes made of black steel protected against corrosion by hot-dip galvanisation, placed one on top of the other, with each one rotated relative to the lower one by a 45-degree angle. The walls in the top two cubes were divided into rectangles and interchangeably filled by: HPL, polycarbonate or mirrored dibond. The lowest cube is equipped with two walls built in using HPL and two unbuilt walls, for reasons of communication.
The lowest cube is equipped with educational games on the outer walls, enclosed by HPL panels – one game on each enclosed wall, and a spatial rope net providing an entrance. A rubber mat is installed at the top of the net to make it easier to climb to the level above.
Between the cubes, a rope net is installed in the floor plane of the central cube. Inside the central cube, a spatial rope net is installed in the form of contiguous rope platforms hanging at different heights. One of the walls contains the inlet of a stainless steel tube slide, the starting section of which is located 2.7m above ground level. In the second wall is the entrance to an openwork tunnel made of stainless steel, leading to the highest cube.
In the highest cube, a flat rope net is installed, divided into nine square sectors: two empty for communication and seven in the form of contoured rope seats. Between the cubes, a rope net is installed in the floor plane of the highest cube. In one of the walls is an exit from the openwork tunnel.
Rope elements are made of polyamide, braided, bonded ropes with a diameter of 18mm, connected by connectors made of aluminum, stainless steel and plastic. The connection of the rope net to the steel structure is provided by elements made of stainless steel, galvanized steel and plastics. The foundation of the steel structure is made as reinforced concrete footings.
